Blue Magpie Books is often looking for freelance researchers or editors to help us produce more wonderful books. If you would like to be considered for such a role, please send us an email with your CV and contact details to publisher@bluemagpie.co

Submissions

We are delighted to hear from people who have a suggestion for a Blue Magpie book. We have a commitment to quality, and pride ourselves on producing interesting, compelling non-fiction books, primarily using material that was first published many decades, even centuries, ago and which has lain forgotten and unloved in the archives ever since. 

In addition to that, however, we are happy to receive ideas for original non-fiction books.

Please send your idea, precis, or manuscript (or any questions about the submissions process) to publisher@bluemagpie.co. Please be patient with us: we often receive a large amount of submissions, and endeavour to respond within four weeks.

Internships

Blue Magpie occasionally has vacancies for Internships, normally of a one- to three-month duration. We've seen too many companies exploiting these schemes in the past, so these are paid positions, remunerated at the appropriate national minimum wage rates.
